Our story

In February 2017, two parents of young autistic children discussed and realized the few sports activities available in the region for their children. Integration into a regular sports group is often not possible and current services are not necessarily suitable for young people. Knowing the importance of sport in a balanced life and wanting to transmit the values of physical activity to their children, they decided to make a difference. With the participation of other parents (Frédéric Ouellet) and stakeholders (Valérie Parent and Pascale Potvin), the Multisport TSA Outaouais founding committee was created in March 2017.

Since that date, several sessions of soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball and dancing have been organized and more than 50 children have participated in these activities.

In the summer of 2018, the members of the founding committee assessed the possibility of legally forming Multisport TSA Outaouais and the steps to create a non-profit company were initiated. On May 29, 2019, the Multisport TSA Outaouais Solidarity Cooperative was created.
